Season 3
Beginning in June 2023 with the release of update 1.20, and ending in June 2025 with update 1.21.5, season 3 of Junicraft brought yet another brand new world on a brand new seed, with new ideas for the community abound.
Season 3 brought a new focus on worldbuilding and lore, centered on a humans vs zombies post-apocalyptic setting.
Throughout it all, Junicraft has remained a chill and welcoming place for anyone who is seeking to play Minecraft with friends.

Timeline of Season 3
May 2023
Planning begins for Season 3
Juni begins planning for Season 3. She, along with the community, has decided to focus more on worldbuilding and lore for the new season to help with inspiration for builds.
June 11 2023
A seed is chosen
Juni begins to set the table for the new season, choosing a seed and making sure all plugins and datapacks are up to date. She treads new ground by focusing on worldbuilding, learning new things as she goes along.
It is decided that a guild system should be implemented for players to trade goods and services. How exactly this will look remains to be decided.
Juni also decided to temporarily block the Nether and the End for the start of this season to give everyone time to prepare to tackle them together as a community.
June 16 2023
Launch
Season 3 goes live on the server running version 1.20.1. A ruined Nether portal is built at spawn to serve as the center of the spawn hub. 
June 30 2023
Thriving
Two weeks after launch, the End remains closed, but preparations are beginning for its opening. Guilds and shops have been set up in and around spawn to facilitate easier trading. (Picture is dated July 19 2023)
July 15 2023
The End opens
The End opens and the Junicraft community tackles the Ender Dragon together. Getting to the End proves to be a greater challenge than the Dragon herself.
July 26 2023
mcMMO and Oh the Dungeons are added
mcMMO and Oh the Dungeons, two community favorite plugins, are added to the server. Together they help give players even more of a reason to play and explore together.
August 2023
Ultimate Seashell Hunter 2023
Juni creates a summer event for the server: dinosaur nugget-shaped sea shells have been hidden in the ocean west of spawn. Players are tasked with collecting as many as possible and turning them in for a prize.
After a fierce competition between two community members, Oddie and Elin, Oddie comes out on top as the ultimate dino nuggie collector.
